Option Using Cash App (Primarily Bitcoin)

Cash App is known for its simplicity in buying and sending Bitcoin (BTC). Before you start, ensure your Cash App is fully verified and you have a linked funding source.

Buy Bitcoin (BTC) on Cash App​

  1. Open Cash App and tap the Bitcoin tile on the home screen.
  2. Tap Buy.
  3. Enter the USD amount you want to spend or the BTC amount you want to receive.
  4. Choose your funding source (linked bank account or Cash App balance).
  5. Confirm with your PIN or Touch/Face ID.
  6. Tap Confirm. The BTC will appear in your Cash App Bitcoin balance.

Send Bitcoin to an External Wallet​

  1. In the Cash App home screen, tap the Bitcoin tile again.
  2. Tap Send (paper-airplane icon).
  3. Enter the BTC amount to send.
  4. Paste or scan the vendor’s wallet address. Double-check the first and last 4 characters.
  5. Tap Next. Choose network speed (faster = higher fee).
  6. Review transaction details (amount, address, network fee).
  7. Confirm with PIN or Touch/Face ID.
  8. Cash App will display a confirmation when the transaction is broadcast.
