Path B: Supplies Needed & Sourcing

  • Medication vial — An authentic, single-dose tirzepatide vial in the strength you need. Always confirm the serial code (see Verifying Authenticity).
  • Insulin syringes — Sterile U-100 syringes. A 1 mL barrel with 0.01 mL markings gives the best accuracy. Use a brand-new syringe for every injection; never reuse.
  • Needles (if separate) — Sterile, sub-cutaneous gauge 29 G–32 G, length 5/16-inch or ½-inch, and compatible with your syringe. One new needle per shot.
  • Alcohol swabs — Individually wrapped, sterile pads for wiping the vial stopper and skin.
  • Gauze or cotton — Optional, to press on the site for a few seconds after injecting.
  • Sharps container — Puncture-resistant, FDA-cleared container for used syringes, needles, and empty vials.
  • Where to buy
    • Vials: through your trusted gray-market supplier (authenticate before use).
    • Ancillary supplies: local pharmacies or reputable online medical-supply stores (see Sourcing Ancillary Supplies).
  • Disposal guidance — Follow the Safe Disposal Guide for all sharps and empty vials.
