Path B: Detailed Injection Technique & Site Rotation

Use the syringe you filled in the Preparation & Use steps and follow this sub-cutaneous injection routine:

  1. Select and clean a site
Choose abdomen, front/outer thigh, or the back of the upper arm. Wipe a two-inch area with a new alcohol swab and let it air-dry. Do not touch the skin after cleaning.

  2. Rotate sites
Pick a new point at least one to two inches from the last injection. Switch areas weekly or follow a pattern (for example: upper-left abdomen → lower-left abdomen → upper-right abdomen → lower-right abdomen → thigh). Keep a simple log. Avoid bruises, scars, moles, or irritated skin. See General Injection Safety Concepts.

  3. Inject the dose
Pinch a fold of skin if your needle length or body type requires it. Hold the syringe like a dart. Insert the needle quickly at 90 ° (or 45 ° if advised). Push the plunger slowly until the barrel is empty.

  4. Wait and withdraw
Keep the needle in place for five to ten seconds, then pull it straight out at the same angle. Release the skin pinch.

  5. Aftercare
If a drop of blood appears, press gently with gauze or cotton for a few seconds. Do not rub.

  6. Dispose immediately
Drop the entire syringe, needle attached, into a sharps container. Do not recap. See the Safe Disposal Guide.
