Path C: Storage (Reconstituted Vial)
Proper storage after mixing preserves potency and limits bacterial growth (sterility is never guaranteed).
- Refrigeration: Store the vial upright in a refrigerator between 2 °C and 8 °C (36 °F to 46 °F). Keep it toward the back where temperatures stay steady.
- Do not freeze: Freezing damages peptide molecules and makes the solution ineffective.
- Protect from light: Keep the vial in its original box or wrap it in aluminium foil.
- Label the vial: Record the date mixed, final concentration, and calculated expiration date (see Reconstitution).
- Shelf life: When mixed with BAC water and refrigerated, most users limit storage to 28 days. Potency can fall sooner, so inspect the solution before every dose.
- Inspect before use: Discard the solution if it turns cloudy, changes colour, or contains particles or flakes.
- Single-use if mixed with plain sterile water: Without preservative, treat the vial as single use and discard any leftover solution immediately after the first withdrawal.
