Path A: Troubleshooting

  • Dropped device
Inspect the pen or syringe closely. If you see any crack, bend, or other damage, do not use it. Dispose of it in a sharps container. See the Safe Disposal Guide.

  • Liquid looks wrong
Do not inject if the solution is cloudy, oddly colored (a faint yellow tint can be normal for some products), contains particles, or may have been frozen.

  • Leak after injection
A few drops on the skin usually mean the dose was not fully delivered—often because the pen was lifted too soon or the syringe plunger was not pushed to the end. Do not take an extra dose. Review the injection steps and wait for your next scheduled shot.

  • Device will not fire or plunger sticks
If the button jams, the plunger will not move, or any part seems broken, discard the device and use a new one. Replacement or technical support is rarely available for gray-market products.
