Path A: Instructions for Use (Storage, Inspection, Administration)
Always inspect products carefully upon receipt. Check the packaging for damage, verify the product name/dose, and check the expiry date. For injectables, visually examine the liquid before each use: it should typically be clear and colorless (Tizaro may be slightly yellow); discard if cloudy, discolored, contains particles, or if the device appears damaged or expired. Never use medication suspected of having been frozen. Follow storage instructions precisely.

1
Choose an injection area
- You may inject yourself in the abdomen or the front/outer thigh.
- A helper may inject into the back of your upper arm.
- Each week rotate to a new spot—at least two finger-widths from the last puncture.
2
Remove the base cap
- Make sure the lock ring shows the locked symbol.
- Grip the gray (or white) base cap and pull it straight off. Throw the cap away.
- Do not touch the hidden needle or try to replace the cap.
3
Place, unlock, inject
- Press the clear base flat against your cleaned skin.
- Turn the lock ring until the unlocked symbol lines up.
- Push and hold the injection button until you hear two clicks and the internal plunger stops moving (up to 10 s).
4
Finish safely
- Lift the pen straight off the skin. The gray plunger should now fill the window.
- Drop the entire pen into an FDA-cleared sharps container—no recapping, no re-use.
